The Decarbomile project holds its final consortium meeting in Istanbul
GISA attended the consortium meetings of the European project Decarbomile, which took place in Istanbul between April 20 and 22.

The main objective of the DECARBOMILE project is to demonstrate how collaborative consolidation schemes can unlock the full potential of decarbonized and optimized last-mile logistics solutions, taking into account technical, environmental, and socioeconomic contexts. To ensure the large-scale impact of these solutions, the project's demonstration and replication efforts are being implemented in a wide range of European cities. Thirty-one partners are participating in this project, including the Getafe City Council, which is serving as a testbed in collaboration with GISA. The consortium's budget is €9.6 million, with €7.9 million funded by the EU's Horizon Europe research and innovation program.
GISA carries out its work as project manager in Getafe and as the representative of the city council in the technical work of development and implementation of the last mile logistics micro-hub in Getafe Central, as well as in monitoring and participating in consortium meetings.
