Throughout this journey, Getafe has successfully participated in European projects related to entrepreneurship, innovation, environmental sustainability, energy resilience and efficiency, the fight against energy poverty and labour inclusion. These initiatives have made it possible to position our municipality as a benchmark in the application of innovative policies and in collaboration with cities and entities throughout Europe.
Our Services
The European Projects Office is a support point for companies, entities and local agents interested in participating in European initiatives or in accessing funding opportunities. Our work is structured around three main axes:
- Advice to innovative companies
We accompany companies from Getafe that wish to present their ideas to European calls. We help them identify the most suitable programs for their projects, and resolve doubts to prepare solid and competitive proposals. The aim is to make it easier for local innovation to grow and access the European ecosystem.
- Finding partners and creating consortia
We act as a link between companies and organizations that want to participate in joint projects. We help connect entities with common interests, encourage the creation of balanced consortia and support the generation of strategic alliances that increase the chances of success of each initiative.
- Participation in European projects
GISA participates directly in various European projects aimed at improving competitiveness and innovation in Getafe. We lead pilot projects, represent the municipality in European and national networks, and collaborate as a strategic partner in initiatives focused on innovation, sustainable energy and economic development.
